The physiological changes in a pregnant woman's body tend to limit her ability to safely engage in any sort of physical activity. "Before prescribing any sort of physical exercise to a pregnant woman, she should be clinically, obstetrically and medically evaluated by a genuine and relevantly qualified medical doctor", informs weight management expert, Dr. Amrapali Patil, the founder of Trim N Tone. "Only after the doctor deems it fit and necessary, and once all the risks have been ruled out, can a physical activity program be recommended to her", she adds.
